Nitro and AIB leaders celebrate their new partnership.

It’s an exciting month at Nitro. We’ve hit another milestone – an unmistakable sign of not just our recent momentum, but also nearly 10 years of history – our 500,000th customer.

And who is the lucky customer? Allied Irish Bank, one of Ireland’s largest banks, has chosen to deploy Nitro Pro to 1,000 employees. Could there be a better way to celebrate our recent rapid growth in the European market, and the hiring of nearly 40 Nitronauts in our new Dublin office?

With our $15m funding round from Battery Ventures closed last quarter, the ramping of our SaaS offering, Nitro Cloud, and our continued global expansion (we’re hiring in San Francisco, Dublin and Melbourne), we’ve got big plans for what we’re calling Nitro’s “second chapter”. We turn 10 in May this year, and we’ve started referring to 2015 not as Year 11, but as Year 1 of Chapter 2. We’ve achieved a lot in our first chapter, but as we cross the half-a-million-customers milestone and enter our second chapter, we remain as passionate about helping businesses work more productively with documents as we were at our founding in 2005.
